Business-To-Business (B2B) License

In the Malta Gaming  Authority’s (MGA) mission to ensure that the global landscape of casino and iGaming industries remains a safe and secure space for gambling activities, the MGA acts as the European Union’s (EU) primary licensor of the Business-to-Business (B2B) Malta gaming license in Malta.

The B2B Malta gaming license is only issued to companies that create and distribute services and products for Business-to-Consumer (B2C) gaming operators to host in their business model and operations.

Furthermore, the B2B Malta gaming license is issued to the company when the following constitutes as a critical gaming supply:

  • The company supplies and manages the material elements of a game.
  • The company supplies and manages software, generating, capturing, controlling or processing essential regulatory records and/or supplying and managing of the control system which the software resides.

The following below are the different categories of B2B licenses offered by the MGA. Businesses are required to apply for the appropriate B2B license type in order for them to legally provide their services to their prospecting clients.
